Funder: New Horizons For Seniors
Dates: March 2024 – March 2025
About the Project
Intergenerational open studio reduces community social isolation by creating opportunities for intergenerational connection through art-making in a series of workshops that travel to different accessible locations across the Ottawa Valley.
Additional small group workshops are held for groups who are not able to attend the community workshops. Workshops focus on play with a variety of materials including paint, pencil, marker, collage, etc. Select workshops are held to music.
This project is done in partnership with the local community organizations including: Seniors Active Living Centre, Community Resource Centre, Eganville Echo Centre, BLR Community Centre and Quadeville Community Centre.
